In 1965 Patrica Fay created the Chiltern Antiques Group and by 1968 11 arts societies had come together to form the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Society,NADFAS.

The West Wycombe Society was founded in 1975. We are a vibrant society known for giving a warm welcome to all members both old and new and we take pride in continuing Patricia Fay’s belief that above all ‘it must be fun’.

We soon outgrew our original home and now meet at the Village Hall in Lacey Green, near Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire. Our average attendance at lectures is 150 . We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Tea and coffee is served from 10 am and the lecture commences at 10.45 am finishing at 12 noon.

Members of the West Wycombe Decorative and Fine Arts Society passed a resolution at the AGM on 18th October 2017 to change its name to The Arts Society West Wycombe.
